We run a mini compute cluster built from four Raspberry Pi boards — essentially a pocket-sized supercomputer. With shared storage (NFS) and job scheduling through SLURM, it’s a fully functional HPC system that is sufficient for small-scale yeast genomics experiments. And when workloads grow, a burst-to-cloud feature (in development) will let the cluster seamlessly scale into the cloud for extra power.
